Will Berchelmann is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of Ailevon. Will has nearly 15 years airline industry experience. He spent seven years at Southwest Airlines in Network Planning and Scheduling, three years at American Airlines in Revenue Management and International Planning, and one year at Accenture LLP in the firm’s Travel and Transportation Services group.

Prior to co-founding Ailevon, Will was Senior Manager of Airport Consulting Services at Sabre Airline Solutions.  At Sabre, Will brought extensive experience working with both DOT and global MIDT data, which he used to perform traffic and fare analyses, passenger and revenue leakage studies, and airline network strategic reviews.

Will uses his extensive industry experience to paint a multi-faceted, realistic picture of a client’s air service opportunities. His work strikes a healthy balance between the art and science of the network planning paradigm.

Will holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and International Studies from Northwestern University.

Our Operating Philosophy

We started Ailevon with the recognition that ASD consulting is best done at a personal level. Big firms have high costs and low levels of patience. Ailevon doesn’t focus on billable hours and moving on to the next project. Instead, we build long-term relationships with our clients. These relationships are the cornerstone of our philosophy.

Our interest in the airline business goes to the core of who we are and why we do this work. We do it because we love it, not because we want to get rich. Our commitment to you is that we will always be honest with you and we will always focus on the long game. We want to build relationships that last. That means looking after your long-term interests, not short-term paychecks. You can trust that you will always get our candid opinions.

Our analytical approach is unique in that we focus on building the community’s story in addition to the air service pitch. There are many talented consultants across this industry, but many of them are so focused on data and production that they lose track of the community itself. We don’t. After all, the community IS the market.

That means we customize our presentations to tell the story of the community in a way that will appeal to airline planners. We won’t put our analyses in a standardized format that fails to differentiate your market. Instead, we will call attention to those unique attributes that make your community stand apart.
